OSUMI island design competition

Our entry for the Osumi Island Competition embraces the dynamic character of the Osumi River, which flows at the foot of the historic city of Berat. Our landscape intervention is designed to adapt to the river’s changing levels throughout the year, creating temporary spaces for cultural activities and leisure. The project’s ephemeral nature invites new ways of experiencing the landscape, offering a fluid and versatile environment that can evolve over time. This innovative approach ensures that the space remains flexible and ready to accommodate unforeseen future scenarios, reflecting our commitment to adaptive and resilient design.
